Pure Panga arrival.

The first Pure Panga 22 that I have been waiting patiently for is actually done and coming up the coast from Tampa area today. Expect performance reports and photos within the next few days. I am looking forward to it, and I'm sure some patient Panga fans will appreciate the quality and thought that went into making a boat with the most requested features and no compromises, at a reasonable price.

The boat will be available to demo in Apalachicola, and there will be a 20' demo done in a couple weeks as well.

Pure Panga update.

After some delay , we will have the first demo Pure Panga 22 in our possesion next week.

The construction phase is done and we will be hanging the E Tec 90 on the boat and getting it ready to test. I will also have a 20 footer coming not far behind and we will probably test that one with a couple of different motors to see what we can get it to do with a 50/60 and 75/90 H.P.motors. If the boat [ 20 footer] runs well with a 50 or 60 H.P. our goal of an under 20k boat might still be a reality. That would also allow the use of a 4 stroke motor as an option without adding too much weight.

Anyway, after a little longer than anticipated build, we will finally have our clean, simple, affordable,Pangas. I am looking forward to running the boats in our bay and in the gulf.

I'll keep the info coming as it develops.

Photo Album Update

Newest shots of our 22 footer

We've updated our Panga Gallery with some new shots of the facility in Tarpon and some boats in various stages of dress and undress.

Marc has been just as busy as a boat dealer in the middle of summer can expect to be...but promises more news very soon.

Stay tuned.

Pure Panga update.

Well we have been busy and have not gotten things rolling as quickly as we would have liked. However we are moving forward at this point and the boats are coming along.

It's hard to create an acceptable boat for a lot of folks looking for value AND quality. You can't do everything for everybody, but we are trying to get a consensus of features that will make a safe and functional boat for a reasonable price. That is still our mission.

We are moving forward with the E tec Powered 20 footer now. We will test with the 60 H.P. We have all welded aluminum trailers being built for us that are superior to most of the trailers I have seen, and will be included in our packages.

Photo Album with new construction shots taken at our Tarpon Springs facility.

I will not give dates cause that has bitten me in the past [ I apologise], but we don't want to miss the season, and I NEED A BOAT!!! Stay tuned and Ill try to be more active with the communication as we get closer to splashing the boat.

I have been awaiting the right time to announce our new venture: Pure Panga

I have been associated with a couple of the Panga"importers/builders" or whatever you want to call them. I have watched all of them try to turn a Panga into a very expensive, overly fancy boat and struggle with factory direct or dealer network sales dilemma and the associated problems that it can create. Our philosophy is to build simple boats as they were intended. Low horsepower, light, no "giant" consoles. Nothing but a simple boat with the few things that our customers have always wanted in a Panga: a fishable front deck, a livewell, a small profile console, and a reasonable price that seems in line with what you are really getting.

We are currently bringing in hulls from Mexico (licensed by Argos) with composite transoms (we sent the materials to them) and are installing the composite floors, aluminum tanks, compact consoles, and marine grade wiring in Florida to our specs. We will have the only 20 footer on the market that we know of and of course the classic 22 footer. Our website will be changing with more info, pricing, and photos of the process and we are shooting for a boat to be shown at the Pensacola Boat Show April 20-22. If we can do it all to our standards and show our product we will, if we are not satisfied with our progress at that time we will wait till it's right. Progress reports will be on the site.

We think this is the direction for the Panga industry that the most buyers are the most interested in seeing.
